The Jobs Gateway in South Eastern Europe CoP is honored to host Ms. Aleksandra Visnjic, Mr. Dragan Raketic and Mr. Dragan Djukanovic share their experiences with implementing the Social Card – Social Welfare Information System (SWIS) in Montenegro. The SWIS is an electronic and information system for processing, approving, monitoring and auditing social benefits and transfer. The SWIS is part of the social reform process in Montenegro, and it has resulted in the development of a more efficient and effective system of social protection and quality service for the poor and vulnerable. While the project was initiated in May of 2012, it is still active with the estimated end date of July 2017.
The presentation will be followed by a discussion on how this reform can best be implemented in other countries, specifically in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia.
The video conference connections will be available at the following World Bank offices: Belgrade (6-615), Podgorica (WB Podgorica-2), Prishtina (2-07), Sarajevo (17-06), Skopje (0-03), Tirana (2-103), Vienna (19-8), and Washington, D.C. (MC 7-603). Simultaneous interpretation will be available in English and Serbo-Croatian.
